Chris has over 25 years of experience as a senior manager and consultant in agribusiness in Australia and overseas.

Chris’s career commenced in research and extension roles with two major Australian dairy companies and then moved into senior business and marketing roles for several large agribusinesses.

More recently, Chris held a senior management role in DairyNZ before taking on a Group Manager role with Dairy Australia, responsible for a research, innovation and education project budget of over A$25 million per annum.

Since 2018, Chris has worked as an independent advisor and consultant. He has provided consultancy services specialising in supporting agribusinesses, Rural Research & Development Corporations, research consortiums, industry organisations and other entities.

Chris’s core expertise is in strategic and operational reviews, strategy development and business planning. Chris has an in-depth understanding of the challenges specific to the agricultural, environmental and research sectors, including in both public, levy-funded and commercial organisations. Chris has extensive skills and expertise to deliver innovation, solutions and improvements to companies and organisations in these sectors.

Chris has significant experience in project management and business development for information technology, software, applications and services in the agricultural sector, Chris is skilled at business, market and partnership development and developing extensive competitor and industry sector analysis profiles.
